About
Since his early age, Pier used to build abodes in his family's residence in southern Italy. Inspired by the magnificent and unique olive trees he used to build a two people hut at the bottom of the tree. Olive trees are sacred to southern italian farmers, so since he couldn't build a house in the tree, he just gathered canned from a closed ditch and convinced his cousin and sister to help him build it.
Every single summer he built one, then his mum would prepare a homemade pizza and he with his young framers would eat it in it. The 'tree house' couldn't last more than one day though. Because of the drought summer season, any spark could burn quickly the little house and the magnificent olive tree above it. So since then he has always dreamed to build treehouses up in trees. Then he studied and become a licenced architect in Italy. In 2005 moved to California, Los Angeles, where he worked for awarded architecture firms. Finally recently decided to open his own design firm to dedicate himself to design tree houses. |
